A Black Latina with the gift of gab, whose life mission is to seek out new worlds and new civilizations…to boldly go where no Cuban American has gone before!
(I’m also a bit of a nerd with a borderline clinical addiction to books!)
I love to meet and learn about people, to hear their stories! I have worn many hats in life in my pursuit of story: daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, executive assistant, library assistant, Partner in Parenting facilitator, Montessori guide, archery instructor, camping guide, and voice over artist – throughout many worlds, like hi-tech, government, non-profit, and both private and public education. This podcast is a chance for me to guide, share, and most of all - discover the power of Being F’ing Honest!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Wong and I am thrilled to be the host of an internationally downloaded podcast – Being F’ing Honest. I live in Southern California and am a single mom to two incredible daughters who are my biggest little teachers. I am a bit of a dichotomy as I have had two businesses for over 25 years in completely opposite fields – Land Development and Spiritual Growth and Wellbeing. For 12 years I lead meditation/hypnosis and personal grown groups at substance recovery centers as a life coach and hypnotherapist. That experience taught me a lot about myself and my souls desire to flow. Writing, coaching and storytelling for the purpose of healing (at times with humor) are my passions.
Now in my 5th decade on the planet, I look back at my perfectly imperfect - path less traveled life, and stand in awe at the distance covered. It is clear that making it through the tough crap was never done alone and my ability to be vulnerable was in direct relation to the support received. Community is key. It is my highest wish that my shared experiences offer a bit of strength and hope to those who listen. Being F’ing Honest is not easy, especially with myself, but let’s give it a shot and see what happens
